Ryuji and Taiga both love each other on a whole different level than just friendship. I believe that in itself will just work itself out.

if ami confesses as well, things would definitely reach a climax which would be what some of us want to see. however this would be unrealistic as the writers of this story has portrayed ami as someone who is the most matured in terms of thinking and decision making, throwing in some really spiteful and 'read between the lines' moments along the way. she hates losing and still cannot fully comprehend why ryuuji is unaffected by her looks as she has not met his mother yet..still she knows that she is not quite in the similar picture as minorin or taiga who is most probably going to end up with ryuuji as in most cases.still, i would like to see how this pens out as whichever girl ryuuji chooses it will directly or indirectly affect their whole friendship. Spare a thought for kitamura as well, having finally noticed taiga's feelings for him but now having to play second fiddle to ryuuji.

I don't really want Ami to confess to Ryuji. No doubt, the way she's acting right now is because she's leaous of both Taiga, and Minori. I don't know how her personality would change towards Ryuji, if he were to accept her. Either way, there haven't really been any moments in which Ami and Ruijy show any kind of relationship wise success. All in all, I'd rather see Ryuji end up with Taiga or Minori. But I'm leaning more on the side of seeing him with Taiga. Even in this episode it seems they would be wonderful together in him proclaiming: "Being with Taiga is the best." The only reason Taiga wants Ryuji to be with Minori is because she really cares for him, and wants him to be happy, but is unaware that he also has feelings for her as well. At least, that's what it seems like to me.

i personally want Ryuji to get with Taigia because i love typical romantic endings when i watch anime, i hate when things take a turn, i don't like Ami for the most part, she may be pretty but shes never upfront about her feelings, even to herself, she needs to find a guy that is as stuck up as she is. And Monori started acting wierd for no reason, i think she deserves to get with the President, who is also insane and unpredictable.

I rather like to see Ryuuji with Minori because Minori is a really good girl. She reject Ryuuji because she saw Taiga crying for Ryuuji. She doesn't want to hurt her friends while she herself is hurt.

I think it will be more interesting if Ami also confess. But right now I am curious how Ryuuji acts about Taiga. I haven't watched it yet because I am waiting for the subbed version. Thanks for the comments.

I'm pretty sure that's gonna really effect him if Ami does. Since Taiga inadvertently confessed to Ryuji right after Ryuji made the vow to never leave Taiga alone. (Which that in itself is like a confession) Now he's currently confused, who should he place his attention on, Minori or Taiga, either decision will potentially effect all their friendships. If Ami threw in her confession that would break him. He would have no choice but to remove himself from them because it's him who is the problem. Taiga knew this and that's why the night during the christmas party she had to absolutely force herself to the breaking point of telling Ryuji to go to the christmas party to wait for Minori. That was when Minori accidently caught Taiga crying out for Ryuji because her heart broke again, even moreso than when with Kitamura, because she completely changed because of Ryuji without her knowing it. This sudden realization became obsession and her obsession and her personality clashed to where she had to separate herself and Ryuji and take care of herself rather than rely on Ryuji who had changed her. It is true that Ami is also in love with Ryuji. Ami finds Ryuji as her real obstacle, Since Ami is as beautiful as she is clever she can't seem to understand why Ryuji is the only man in the world unaffected by her charms. At first it was a game to battle Taiga with at first, but because of Ryuji's deep understanding she grows up from being a child and learns how to co-operate with others. But every now and again her sharp childish side comes in and always seems to fight anything that involves Ryuji and everything that he influences. And because of Ryuji's personality his circle influence to everyone around him is far more powerful than Ami who's infulence is just her popularity. This creates a Barrier between Ryuji and Ami because she know's she can never win his heart and hates losing, she can't tell Ryuji because she know's that she could never win against Either Taiga or Minori.

But still Ami Confessing would really add that much more to the climax.
